About Us
Konstellation is a holding company that was established to develop an blockchain ecosystem for financial services. Projects of Konstellation includes Vegax, a digital asset management service, Taebit, a decentralized exchange, and Konstellation Network, our own blockchain for the entire ecosystem.
VegaX is a fintech company that manages digital assets. What VegaX does can be categorized into two parts. First, it makes it easy for non-experts to invest in crypto currencies. Since 2014 DarcMatter, the predecessor company of VegaX has developed various alternative finance products. One of VegaX's most prominent products, VEBE, shows levels of returns similar to directly investing in Bitcoin, while keeping the volatility much smaller.
Taebit is a decentralized exchange (DEX). It brings into play a virtual machine to register and implement smart contract platforms, such as Ethereum and Solana. Thus, making it possible to develop exchanges within blockchain. DEX has the following advantages
- Frees users from risk of wallet hacking
- Delivers transparent and publicly accessible information to confront and solve trust issues (e.g. transactions using internal information, and manipulation of transaction priorities)
- Provides an exchange platform without a backend server because all data is read and written within the blockchain. Also, there is no server downtime.
- Allows worldwide stock trading standards for all assets. (e.g. unlike NYSE, CME is not limited to a certain country)
- Securities in block chain allows for maximum compositionality and programmability as opposed to traditional securities which are end products themselves.

콘스털레이션은 금융 서비스에 특화된 블록체인 생태계를 구축하려는 목적으로 설립된 지주회사이며 세부 프로젝트로는 디지탈 자산운용 전문 서비스 베가엑스와 탈중앙 거래소 태빗이 있습니다.
베가엑스(VegaX)는 디지털 자산을 다루는 핀테크 서비스입니다. 디지털 자산에 대한 관심과 함께 빠르게 성장하여 마케팅 없이 1년 만에 1000억의 자산을 확보하여 운용하고 있습니다. 베가엑스는 크게 두 가지 일을 하고 있습니다. 첫째는, 보통의 투자자들이 보다 쉽고 안정적으로 암호화폐 투자를 할 수 있도록 돕는 것입니다. 베가엑스의 대표 상품인 VEBE의 경우 비트코인에 직접 투자하는 것과 비슷한 수준의 수익을 내면서도 상대적으로 매우 안정적인 수익률 변동폭을 가지고 있습니다.
태빗은 중앙거래소의 한계를 극복하는 탈중앙거래소 프로젝트입니다. 이더리움을 위시한 스마트 컨트랙트 플랫폼은 임의의 프로그램을 등록하고 실행할 수 있는 가상머신을 포함하고 있으며 이를 통해 블록체인 내에 거래소를 개발하는 것 또한 가능합니다. 탈중앙거래소는 구체적으로 다음과 같은 장점을 가지고 있습니다.
- 블록체인을 사용한 탈중앙거래소는 사실상 계좌 해킹의 위험으로부터 자유롭습니다.
- 거래에 대한모든 정보가 투명하게 공개되기 때문에 중앙화거래소에서 존재할 수 밖에 없는 신뢰문제(내부정보를 사용한 거래, 거래 우선순위 조작) 등으로 부터 자유롭습니다.
- 모든 데이터는 블록체인 내에서 읽고 쓰이기 때문에 별도의 백엔드 서버 없이 거래소 플랫폼을 제공할 수 있으며 다운타임(downtime)이 존재하지 않습니다.
- 모든 자산군에 대해 세계 어디에서든 사용될 수 있는 증권거래 규격입니다. 즉, 뉴욕 증권거래소나, 시카고 선물거래소처럼 대상이 하나의 규격이 특정 국가의 특정 증권으로 한정되지 않습니다.
- 그 자체가 엔드프로덕트인 기존의 증권들과 다르게 블록체인 상에 정의된 토큰 형태의 증권들은 다른 증권들과의 합성(composition)이 용이하며 스마트컨트랙트를 통해 쉽게 프로그램의 형태로 정의된 증권을 만들 수도 있습니다.

Notes
- A note for non-English speakers 컨스털레이션에는 영어 구사자가 많고 해외 팀과 커뮤니케이션을 할 때는 영어가 주로 사용됩니다. 하지만 한국 지사 구성원들의 경우 보통 이상의 한국어 구사가 가능하기 때문에 영어 회화가 익숙하지 않다고 해서 업무수행에 지장이 되지는 않습니다. 한국어/영어 중 선호하시는 언어를 사용해 주시면 됩니다.
